Excellent oral presentations contribute to your perceived effectiveness as a researcher in fact, interviews for research-based jobs often involve an oral presentation. More than 200 undergraduate presenters and as many judges bring the venue to life–whether virtual or in person. ![]() Those categories cover humanities, social sciences, arts, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. Top presenters in SURCA’s many categories are recognized at a special event. Although SURCA 2021 will be half virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the events held in person allow students to display a research poster, see what other students are researching, deliver a one-to-one presentation to judges and guests, and win awards.
